Hi, I am new to this site, but it looks very useful for someone in my position!
I am a British Citizen. I am currently a student in the final year of an undergraduate business degree. Over last summer I worked in an american camp, using a J1 Visa for temporary work. Whilst working there I began a relationship with a fellow worker at the camp, an american citizen, and we are now engaged. We are currently living on opposite sides of the pond, with the plan being for us to both go back to work at the same camp this summer in order to be together. However, beyond that we are unsure. What would be the easiest way of us being together in your collective opinions? We have little preference over where we live, but as far as I'm aware it would be easier for me to get an immigrant visa to the US than for her to get one to the UK. So we are thinking about that.... What would be the easiest way for us to proceed? The camp director we work for is a friend of ours now, and im sure he would be willing to help me get some kind of employment visa, if that was a possibility. Thanking you for your help! Rich
