hi all,

i would like to know if one can apply for a green card while being a graduate student in the USA? is it legal? is the student visa considered to be a visitor visa?

Are you going to apply for a marriage green card?
There is an adjustment of status that you can do, but I don't know exactly what this entails. For this specific issue, you would be best off researching the USCIS website ... hopefully you will find your answer there!
